- Rachel Keppner is wife of Russell and the home-schooling mother of eleven creative, challenging, and inspiring children, ranging in age from 17 years down to 7 months old. Because she was raised in a home where the classics were cherished, the ideology of A Thomas Jefferson Education was very easy for her to embrace. Upon finding TJEd friends in her own community, she co-founded the former Arizona Liber Association of Families, serving as its president for three years. She is currently running and mentoring in a local New Commonwealth School.
Since 2007, she has been blogging about all the things she has learned about motherhood at www.oldfashionedmotherhood.com. She enjoys home-schooling her children, reading great literature, cooking food for a crowd, beautifying her home, singing, mentoring teens in Shakespeare, and designing and sewing costumes and clothing.
