- Biography
- Nels Jensen holds an M.B.A. from the Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas. Before Austin, Nels taught world history and literature at George Wythe University. Nels was born in Boise, Idaho, and has lived most of his life in the Rocky Mountain states. He has lived abroad in Australia, and traveled in Europe. He is currently engaged in a life-long quest to see and experience the wonders of the Rocky Mountains and the American Southwest. In 2006 Nels founded an outdoor education company. Each year he leads several expeditions in the backcountry for students, professionals and families. Nels directs Williamsburg Academy’s signature outdoor course, “Elevation”, and oversees all administrative systems for Williamsburg. He and his wife Suzanne have three sons.
