Silhouette Ballroom Studios

Silhouette Ballroom Studios teaches ballroom and latin dancing to both youth and adults in a most unique way.  Contrary to most dance studios, we are dedicated to teaching "classic" and clean steps that follow the teachings of how dance should be.  We teach in a wholesome environment where students are expected to be modest and use the utmost decorum in speech, behavior, and appearance.  Our costumes for our performance team are a reflection of who we are; clean, modest, unique, and fun.

We are committed to giving our students a quality experience in which they grow not only in technical skills, but in confidence, character, and virtue, as well.  We give our students leadership opportunities in order to strengthen their personal skills for their own individual missions.

We also provide the students with the opportunity to give back to the commuunity through activities that they prepare and officiate for both adults and youth.  These events allow many of the students to earn their own tuition for classes, dance shoes, and dance camps.

Classes that are offered include:

Youth Technique Classes- Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced I, Advanced II

Youth Formation Team (performs around the valley and competes in Utah and Idaho)

Youth Elective Classes- Lift Class I, Lift Class II, Peripheral Vision, Self-Balancing, and Dating and Dancing Decorum

Adult Technique Classes- Beginning, Intermediate

Offered Homeschool & Ballroom Events include:

Holiday Ball- Semi to Formal Ball over the holiday break that includes dance instruction, floor show by the Silhouette Formation Team, pictures, raffle, and dancing.  For Adult couples and youth ages 14 and up.

Dinner/Dancing Date Night for Couples- Student run fundraiser in which a full dinner is served plus dance instruction and deejayed dancing. For couples 18 and older. Offered 2-3 times a year.

Kids Kamps- Student run fundraiser in which children learn and play different team sports or winter fun activities. For children ages 6-12. Offered 1-2 times a year.
