LEAF Leadership Education Academy for Families

We are a group of Families and Friends in Snohomish County in Washington State.  We are working to build a TJED community to support our families.  We are part of LEAPS, the Leadership Education Association of the Puget Sound.  Our efforts are specific to our local area, Snohomish County, Washington (about 30 minutes north of Seattle).  We currently host two adult book clubs, a parent class, a core phase class and field trip group, and quarterly family activities.  We plan to host a scholar phase colloquia beginning Fall 2010 for youth 12-18 yrs old, based on TJED for Teens.  We hope to grow and add more classes, colloquia, and events for Love of Learners, Scholar Phasers, and adults.  We dream of having a commonwealth school when our core phasers grow up into scholar phasers.
