As most of my family, friends, and acquaintances know, I am a big (and loud) fan of TJED or A Thomas Jefferson Education, also known as Leadership Education.  It’s the philosophy my family uses for our home schooling efforts.  I am the mother of 3 children ages, 7, 2, and 2.  I learned about TJED when my oldest daughter was 6 months old.  I have been studying and applying TJED principles with my family for over 7 years.  When my 2 year old boy/girl twins were born, a lot of people assumed my family would have to stop homeschooling but we found it just got better and easier with a larger family.  

Over the last 5 years I have been working with other TJED Families and individuals in my local area to build a TJED Community.  I believe deeply in the principles of Leadership Education and feel passionate about inspiring others to learn and live the principles.  

I truly believe every individual has personal missions that they were born to fulfill.  I believe that as people fulfill their personal missions, they help solve problems in the world around them and if everyone fulfilled their personal missions, all the problems of the world would be solved.  Part of my mission is to inspire others to prepare for, discover, and fulfill their missions.  I get a thrill from seeing the light come on inside someone when they realize they were born to do great things and I love the process of helping someone get there.

I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Political Economy (Liberal Arts) with George Wythe University.  I also serve on the boards of two local TJED organizations in the Seattle area and help mentor a TJED For Teens bookclub.
