Let's face it: Although the decision to engage in parent-led, home based education is often made by the whole family (or at least by both parents), the bulk of the teaching responsibility usually falls to Mom. This presentation discusses lessons learned from trying a variety of approaches to finding the right fit for Dad as a support to the daily love of learning education program. Math, writing, spelling, reading, history and more: learn what has worked well and what has worked not so well for this family that has been actively pursuing leadership education since 2004. The presentation will include several links to resources that Dr. Allen has developed that have proven beneficial at increasing the supporting role that he has played in the education of his three children.
