From Hopeless Martyr to Happy Mother: Teaching Your Children to Work

The idea that homemaking has the potential to change from drudgery to joyful mothering has both inspired and haunted me during the eighteen years I've been a homemaker. Through the extensive study of great homemaking classics, I have been inspired by the way households of the past were managed by accomplished homemakers. And over the years, I became determined to better serve my family and bring order to my home. Thus I began a tremendous journey to change myself from being a Hopeless Martyr to becoming a Happy Mother. I am finally mastering many of the principles and systems that have made joyful motherhood a reality! I am excited to share what I have learned with other moms, so that they, too, can stop feeling like Hopeless Martyrs and start being the Happy Mothers they were meant to be!
