Can I Get Into College by Reading the Classics?
ACT test, college admissions, scholarships, academic and leadership camps, and Prom, versus classics, scholar phase, mission, simulations and Formal Ball. It seems as if a line has been drawn in the sand. Choose one side or the other. If you go to Prom you’re labeled a “teenager” or if you choose not to get a high school diploma you are not college bound and have no future. Right? Wrong. A true leader creates his or her own success and doesn’t follow any type of conveyor belt thinking.
Take control of your future. Planning is the key to success. What things do you need to do and know if you want to get a scholarship? Do I really need to take standardized tests? How can I use my non-traditional, leadership education as an advantage when applying for college, scholarships and other programs? What does scholar phase look like? Do I really have to sit in a room by myself for 8 hours a day to have an effective scholar phase? How do I move from coasting and doing the minimum to having a passion for learning and zest for life and my mission? Come and join the discussion and then get busy making your dreams a reality.

Best class of the day. She got that we don’t need “ra ra” but rather need practical things we can go home and apply.

Most applicable to me of all the classes. I wish she was my mom. I need help with the ACT.
